​I'm an avid photographer. I love music and photography gives me a different avenue of expression and amusement. I hope to blend both music and picture into a unified form one day.

 

​​I have a B.Eng Electronics & Communications from Curtin University.

My current camera body is a full frame SONY A7Riii. I graduated from the Sony APSC cameras very quickly as I found them limiting. I hope to upgrade to the A7iv as I think it has the perfect degree of resolution and user ergonomics.

 

I like Sigma prime lenses. I do think they are very well built and employ very good glass. I own both the 85mm f/1.4 DG DN and the 85mm f/1.4 DG HSM ART series. I also have the the wonderful "Cine" inspired 40mm f/1.4 and 50mm f/1.4 DG ART series from them.

 

For all other focal lengths, I love the versatile Tamron 35-150mm f/2-2.8 and the wide angle 17-28mm f/2.8 zoom lenses. Once in a while, I'd use the TTartisans 50mm f/0.95 just for surprises because it is a very imperfect lens and has its own character.

Software-wise, I use Adobe Lightroom Classic and Photoshop, just because it works wonderfully on Apple M1 Silicon machines. They have been around for a long time and are frequently used by professional photographers. Once in a while, I also use Topaz AI to do some surgical cleanup.
